Susheela Raman unveils a series of song-films, shot on location in Indonesia, France and the UK by legendary music photographer Andrew Catlin. The films visualise her acclaimed 'Ghost Gamelan' collaboration, in which Susheela's spellbinding voice weaves with the rich sonorities of Gamelan, the metal orchestras of the lndonesian archipelago. The asthetic universe of Gamelan has influenced musical luminaries from Debussy and Messaien to Miles Davis, Sonic Youth and countless others. Raman's 'Ghost Gamelan' album was released in 2018 and was named by Le Monde and The Guardian amongst their records of the year.

Susheela Raman has delivered an extraordinary album entitled Ghost Gamelan. Recorded in Solo, Indonesia, the album is a collaboration with Javanese contemporary gamelan composer Gondrong Guanarto and his team of virtuoso gamelan players.

Susheela Raman releases her new album Queen Between this month. It is an album of rousing rhythms that again documents her work with Rajasthani folk stars, vocalist-multi-instrumentalist Kutle Khan and stick drummer Nathoo Solanki. Susheela is playing dates across India, France & the UK to support the release.
