Blood Memory - A Story of Removal and Return
Bill Stankay has composed the score to the documentary film Blood Memory, telling the untold history of America's Indian Adoption Era - a time when nearly one-third of children were removed from tribal communities nationwide. As public scrutiny over Indian child welfare increases, an adoption survivor helps others find their way home through song and ceremony.

Adidas and Parley Design a Plastic Free World
To raise further awareness of this environmental pollution, Vice have been in partnership with Adidas and Parley’s joint venture to design a plastic free world which involves using discarded plastic to create shoes and items of clothing.
Our very own William Stankay created the score for this documentary, with 90% of the music being original earth noise including sounds and recordings from the Arctic, Pacific and Atlantic oceans.
Powerade and NCAA March Madness
Bill Stankey recently worked alongside Powerade and advertising agency Wieden and Kennedy to score Powerade’s latest commercial campaign. The campaign stars NBA player Damian Lillard who plays for the Portland Trailblazers and it first aired on television during the 2017 NCAA March Madness tournament. The campaign features original sound design by Bill, including unusual percussion sounds taken from basketballs and mailboxes.

Bill has just completed the score for the trailer for the upcoming Lionsgate film Deepwater Horizon, directed by Peter Berg (Lone Survivor) and starring Mark Wahlberg, Kate Hudson, Dylan O’ Brien, Kurt Russell and John Malkovich.
