Pioneering UK band, Grupo X, who are celebrating 21 years together, have been back in the studio creating original, soulful Afro-Latin music. ‘Something Going On’ is the first release from these sessions, with a new album due out later in the year.

’Something Going On’ maintains Grupo X’s reputation for dancefloor-friendly tunes with a soulful sensibility and a Latin twist. In a stellar lineup, Grupo X vocalist, Lisa Millett, is on magical form telling the tale of a partner obsessed with Obeah and superstition.

The EP features two contrasting remixes;  a pulsating Northern Soul makeover from talented flautist/saxophonist/producer Chip Wickham, and Drum & Bass remix  by up-and-coming Leeds-based producer Jeano.
