KAV - Blitz Vega

We are pleased to welcome songwriter, vocalist, guitar & bassist KAV to the Wardlaw stable.

From helping reform, write and tour with The Happy Mondays in the early 2000's, though DJ'ing, hosting Club Nights and releasing solo material, KAV has had a varied career.

Late 2023 will se the release of the debut album from Blitz Vega, the band KAV formed with his longtime friend Andy Rourke bassist with The Smiths. Andy unfortunately passed from pancreatic cancer in May 2023. Kav is now focused on fulfilling his promise to release the Blitz Vega album he & Andy co-wrote together in Los Angeles. The Blitz Vega album will be released in November 2023 on FutureSonic Records, followed by a few select live shows to celebrate the music Kav & Andy wrote together.
