Knucks has joined forces with producer WizzyWow for this new joint “Cannes”. As always Knucks brings the suave to rap on this one. This track is effortlessly cool and smooth, seamlessly combining old school and new school pop culture references. It’s all mad.
Dan Reed Network on tour
Dan Reed Network have released a video for their track “Infected” taken from the band’s latest album Fight Another Day which arrived last year via Frontiers Records.
The video has launched to coincide with the news that Dan Reed Network will tour with Extreme across the UK in December, following a solo European tour across September & October. Further details here.
Tim Styles joins Wardlaw

Born and raised in the arrowhead range of northern Minnesota, Tim’s music captures his down to earth straightforward upbringing. His dynamic approach infuses the genres of country, blues, folk and rock with seamless effort.
Rodney Branigan One Seed
July sees Rodney Branigan return with the release of his brand new single “One Seed”. The emotive, timeless song was inspired by the celebrated musician’s birthplace of Amarillo, Texas and showcases his liquid fingerpicking and heartfelt vocals.
A highlight of every festival he plays and fresh from blowing away Glastonbury audiences in June, “One Seed” is the first taste of his new album (set for release later this year).
Love Once More
Michal Szyc, finalist in The Voice Poland, releases his new single ‘Kochać Jeszcze Raz’.
(Love Once More) this July, on Universal Poland.
The track is co-written by Wardlaw’s Simon Davis.
Paperface - Let’s Go Traveling
Following the success of ‘Idiot’ comes ‘Let’s Go Travelling’, the new single by Paperface. Taking a wry look at wanting to run away when love flounders, the opening line, “Let’s go travelling, cos’ it’ll solve everything”, neatly sets things up. Recorded in glorious analogue with a live band, the uplifting melody and shamelessly catchy groove brilliantly underscores the sense of irony and the whole thing sparkles with the aid of a live orchestra, recorded in Budapest.
Wizzy Wow ‘Gucci’
Wizzy Wow has linked with Micah Million for his latest video offering ‘Gucci’.
The tune has a chilled beat and subtle dancehall vibes mixed with a trap inflection. Wizzy Wow not only provides vocals alongside Micah Million’s bars, but he also produced the track.
The Blackheart Orchestra ‘Sebastian’
The Blackheart Orchestra’s new album Diving For Roses was released at the end of April. The multi-instrumentalist duo have continued to explore their atmospheric, ethereal sound, creating a captivating album. New single ‘Sebastian’ is also out now – you can watch the video below.
Brawlers - it’s Hard Work
Hard-hitting Leeds rock band Brawlers put out a new song, ‘Hard Work’, in early April. Busy as ever, they are playing three shows this week in London, Leeds and Birmingham. Watch the video for ‘Hard Work’ below:
Paperface ‘Idiot’
With a new album due later this year, Paperface kicks off with ‘Idiot’ which charts the waves of emotion that wash over us between 9am and 5pm. Recorded in glorious analogue, ‘Idiot’ is accompanied by an animated lyric video, a follow up to the award winning animation for ‘A Bigger Man’ from the first album. Go on. ‘When I Find Out’ - Hawk Eyes
Ahead of the food comas and Netflix binges of Christmas the final show of 2016’s Jäger Curtain Call took place, and it sure was a night to remember.
Throughout last year DIY and Jägermeister teamed up with a bunch of bands and headed down to Shoreditch’s Curtain Road for their new project Jäger Curtain Call. In December, it was down to the brilliant Hawk Eyes to step up to the plate when they recorded new track ‘When I Find Out’, at Strongroom Studio.

Cranky George’s ‘Nighttime’ released
Cranky George, James Fearnley’s (of THE POGUES ), folk-influenced indie rock band, have released the first single from their upcoming debut full- length album Fat Lot of Good on September 16. The single, ‘Nighttime’ draws from a variety of influences including legendary Canadian indie rockers Arcade Fire and The Pogues. Fat Lot of Good is their first full-length album and will be released on October 14, 2016.
